Mission Statement: The mission of the Tioga Chamber of Commerce is to be the center of information to meet the needs of a growing community for the benefit of its residents.

Tioga, Texas is 37 miles northeast of Denton, Texas in Grayson County on highway 377.  The population is 854.  Enjoy our lakes, camping, golf, shopping, restaurants, museums and of course the friendly people of Tioga.

Tioga's rich history has roots that can be traced back to as early as 1864 with the digging of the 1st of 9 mineral wells.  Even the name "Tioga" comes from Indian name meaning "Swift current" or "rushing waters".

From the days of mineral baths in the late 1800's to the mineral bottling plant in the early 1900's, with company branches located as far away as Chicago and St. Louis... to her favorite son, Gene Autry, famous singing cowboy and western screen star, to the current days of National Reining Champions, Tim McQuay and his renowned horse Hollywood Dunit in this beautiful little town on the shores of Lake Ray Roberts.

Chamber Meetings are the 2nd Tuesday of Every Month at 6:30 PM at the Chamber Office.
